Crime Scene
The value of physical evidence associated with a crime scene has become more valuable to the judicial system over the past several years. The technical analysis of physical evidence has yielded an increasingly important amount of information to investigators, lawyers and the courts. The amount of information obtained from forensic examinations will only further increase as science and technological advancements come about.
There is no such thing as a typical crime scene. Crime scene technicians and investigators should have specialized training, technical equipment and standard operating procedures to ensure that all pertinent evidence is properly located, documented, collected and packaged. Hopefully this is done in all cases.
FoCoSS Forensics can review the crime scene documentation, notes and reports to determine if anything could have been missed or misinterpreted.
